Canada-born artist Susy Oliviera proposes polygonal shaped sculptures in all 90’s style.They are practically photographic reproductions of his models and analyze the contrast between the volumes of the sculpture and the 2D aspect of the photography.
The artist explains “our preoccupation with replacing nature with fabricated versions of itself and the sculptures express an opposition between the round aspects of sculpture and the flat aspects of photography, much like bringing a virtual model into a real space.”

The London Design Festival has commissioned Clemens Weisshaar and Reed Kram to design this year’s Trafalgar Square installation.

From September 16 to 23, their project entitled OUTRACE, empowers the general public to take control of eight industrial robots on loan from Audi’s production line. Both visitors to the square, as well as a global web audience can interact with the installation via www.outrace.org

The project explores ways to integrate innovative technology within the arts, using LEDs to scroll out user messages by attaching the powerful light heads to the mechanical arms of the robots. A long-exposure camera will capture the resulting light traces, creating videos of the user messages so that participants can share their experience across their social media platforms.

We have never been fans of Guitar Hero (the fake guitar is really a limit). Well SEVEN45 Studio came up with an amazing alternative called Power Gig, that features a real six strings guitar and professional looking equipment. At the professional level you will be put in front of playing real and full chords of famous songs, involving all the skills needed to real play guitar. I am waiting to try.
