The Land of Giants

When we talk about sustainable energies and infrastructures we hear of the environmental impact which is an important factor in the matter.Not to affect the landscapes,an islandic electric company has launched a competiton to find the most interesting solution for their high voltage electrical pylons and it seems that Choi+Shine Architects although did not win the competition,came up with the idea of replacing the towers with steel-framed human figures.The architecture firm ended up winning another prestigious competition instead,the Boston Society of Architects Award.
