Lucky Kid’s Bedrooms

The design of our childhood bedroom can have a lasting impact on us throughout our lives. We never forget the furnishings in our first bedroom and the hours we spent there sleeping, playing and doing homework. Many celebrities recognize this fact and take time from their busy lives to give their kids a memorable design bedroom.

Celebrity model and fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons recently created fantasy princess bedrooms for her daughters Ming and Aoki. These rooms were featured on Simmons’ reality show Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane. The focal point of each room was a custom-built princess castle bed complete with towers, a faux stone finish and hand painted details.

The beds were designed and built according to Kimora’s specifications by a company called Sweet Dream.

For the bed below you are looking to spend at least $12,000 (Frame+Paint+Stairs)

You may add closets, storage and accessories at your whim. Just ask, and they will build it for your little princess or prince.
